Pakistan Day

Pakistan, meaning “the Land of the Pure” in Urdu, celebrates Pakistan Day (known as Yom-e-Pakistan) to commemorate the Pakistan Resolution on March 23, 1940, which demanded the creation of a Muslim state in India.

Pakistan Day is celebrated with various events in private and public offices. During the day, schools hold activities focused on spreading knowledge about the Pakistan Resolution.

To all Pakistanis, HAPPY PAKISTAN DAY!
